And forget about black — it was all about golds like Cameron Diaz’s Oscar de la Renta and Sandra Bullock’s Marchesa and blues like Maggie Gyllenhaal’s Dries van Noten. As for hair, it was the year of the bun, perched perfectly on the glam heads of Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Richie and Miley Cyrus. Check out our picks for Best Dressed and then tell us: Who was your favorite at the Oscars?

Not that you had any doubts that Marion Cotillard could sing — she did win an Oscar for playing French chanteuse Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose and was nominated for a Golden Globe for her song-and-dance turn in Nine, after all. But as part of her other famous role, as the face of Lady Dior, the actress gives new range to her vocal talents with her second short film with Scottish band Franz Ferdinand, directed by Jonas Akerlund. Alternating between a feminine red dress and menswear-inspired tuxedo, Marion rocks out in the video, singing an original composition, the Eyes of Mars. And as you’d expect, the iconic Lady Dior handbag makes its own impressive cameo. –Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

Former DWTS star Kelly Osbourne instantly became this season’s “it” girl, appearing in the front row and walking in fashion shows in designer frocks that showed off her newly svelte figure. And now the reality-TV star has us buzzing again with her newly-dyed purple locks which she debuted yesterday on her Twitter account. “I know it’s lavender but having my hair this color makes me feel me again!” she tweets. As much as we adored Kelly’s signature icy-blonde color, we must admit that the new shade will certainly add a glam edge to her outfits. Could it be that Kelly’s newest trend-setting accessory for the spring is her hair? Vote in our poll below: Do you love Kelly’s newly dyed hair or did you like it better before?

As hordes of actors attempt to stave off aging, we watch on, amused. It’s hard not to laugh or snicker when a person who has clearly had plastic surgery claims that their face is natural. They might as well claim to be a relative of Stretch Armstrong, trying to feed us bull that their skin doesn’t fall and change no matter how old they get, that their chin was always that shape, their lips always that puffy, their eyebrows always that arched.
